After months of gruelling training, the team at Spencers completed the Three Peaks Challenge; raising £27K for the British Heart Foundation in memory of a beloved colleague and friend.
Last week the team at Spencers began their ascent up three of the highest mountains in the UK (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon), in memory of their colleague Justin Hannam.
Justin passed away a year ago from heart failure. Now, a year on and what would have been his 53rd birthday, the team completed the Three Peaks challenge in under 24 hours, raising £27,000 for the British Heart Foundation.

“We lost our much loved colleague and friend so suddenly and so sadly last September. Justin loved life and, with his lovely family, certainly lived it to the full. He continued; “The challenge was an extremely tough one, climbing through the heatwave in temperatures above 25 degrees, but I could not be more proud of this exceptional team.
“The sheer determination by everyone involved to complete this challenge has been so inspiring. We have smashed through our target to raise £20,000 for the British Heart Foundation and have just broken the £27,000 mark with donations still coming in. A huge thank you to all who have supported us in so many ways.”
