Project Overview

Our client, Tentbox, a commercial tenant in Chandlers Ford, was approaching the end of their lease on two light industrial units totalling 7,000 sq ft. The units, constructed around a steel portal frame with brickwork and steel cladding, formed part of a larger terrace of matching properties.

The tenant faced a significant dilapidations claim from their landlord and needed expert advice to negotiate their end-of-lease obligations and achieve a fair financial settlement instead of carrying out costly reinstatement and repair works.

Appointed as the tenant’s building surveyors specialising in dilapidations, HORDE acted on behalf of Tentbox to interpret the lease terms and protect their interests throughout the process.
