Senior Building Surveyor & Project Manager

During his career, Jon-Paul has worked on diverse housing projects, including large-scale developments like the £21m Willows at Hatch Farm. His expertise spans greenfield developments, accessible adaptations, multi-tenure schemes, and sustainable construction, consistently achieving recognition for quality and innovation.

Early in my career, I trained as an Architectural Technician.
I later worked as a Surveyor and Clerk of Works developing a strong technical background with now over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. More recently as a Senior Building Surveyor/Project Manager/Contract Administrator & Employer’s Agent on large mainly residential schemes.

“Probably Stanhope House, Portsmouth. A recladding scheme of a 19-storey student block.

A high-risk building under the Building Safety Act. Working as Employer’s Agent in a large team to replace the cladding of a high-rise building in occupation in the city centre.”

What does JP do in his free time?

JP enjoys eating curry and pairing it with a great drink for the perfect culinary experience. A fan of both movies and music, he knows how to relax and soak in the joys of entertainment.

When winter rolls around, JP loves hitting the slopes for snowboarding whenever the opportunity arises. Passionate about sports, he also enjoys playing football and tennis while also taking time to cheer on their favourite teams. Most importantly, he values quality moments spent with family.
