Matthew has worked in Surrey and Hampshire for the last few years helping private and institutional clients on a range of residential valuation and surveying services.
Matthew gained a distinction in his Masters Degree in Real Estate and Surveying. He then spent some time working in South-West London assisting a surveyor on surveys and party wall work. Following that, Matthew moved to Hampshire and spent time training, eventually qualifying on his first time for RICS AssocRICS accreditation in January 2022.
Matthew’s proudest project
“Last year I undertook a pre-purchase survey for a disabled client who was very concerned about a potential house purchase. I took the time to discuss all the damp and mould related issues in the property, as she was extremely concerned.
“By spending a little bit of extra time to explain the house, its alterations and its overall performance, she ultimately decided not to go ahead. I was delighted when she returned for another survey later on and gave feedback on how impressed she was last time. It’s very rewarding to be able to help people on what is a very important decision.”

Matthew was once a qualified sailing instructor but hasn’t stepped foot on a boat for over 10 years!
